...and I have a Christmas List ready! This is One List to rule them all, so it's for Christmas, my birthday, and Secret Santa.
I put together an Amazon Wish List too, but please read this before you look there because there's something on this list I want you to NOT buy(!), and something on here that isn't on the Amazon list.
If you're like me, you're going to miss Andrew like crazy, but you're also really excited for him and hoping that Springtime finds him studying in Japan!
If you don't think it's too weird, feel free to show Andrew how much we both love him and give him some financial support or anything else you think will help his transition from These Untied States to The Land of the Rising Sun.
I started shaving with a straight edge this year. I love it.
Feel free to ad-lib on creams or soaps. If you buy blades, though, please choose one of the ones on the Amazon list.
Please do not get me a shaving brush or a holder for a brush or razor - I have those already.
Shirts
I'd welcome shirts similar to what StitchFix used to send me. Make me look nice but not too old. Yet.
I don't buy many t-shirts anymore, but you folks buy me good ones. I will point out that I have none that are Japan-related in any way.
Socks
I like Adidas socks, but I'm kinda picky.
Style
Mid crew or quarter socks. No full crew, no show, low cut, high quarter, etc. The word is "picky."
Color
Black, gray, or tan are my goto. No white.
Size
Large, or big enough for men's size 12
If I think of other things, this is where I will put them.
Tools
I just added a 10-inch Saker Contour Gauge to my Amazon list, because how could I not need one of those?
Reliving my childhood
Just added to my Amazon Christmas list: Magic 8-ball!
You've been expecting this one.

Christmas is a great reason to remember everything God gave us. And just as we love because He first loved us, we also give because He first gave to us, and has give us so much.
You know that Mom and I support a local church and several other ministries. We've sponsored kids through Compassion our entire marriage.
I have money in the Kiva system that I lend repeatedly to microbusinesses in poor areas.
I contribute to Wikipedia, campaigns for mental health awareness and suicide prevention, and miscellaneous social causes like Equal Justice Initiative or Habitat for Humanity.
Giving when I think God wants me to always makes me feel blessed and fulfilled.
Where are you sending your heart?
